Our hydrogen peroxide is fresh and contains no preservatives which make it unstable. The higher the percentage of the formula, the shorter the shelf life and they should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 5 °. If you want more than a month of shelf life, order the carbamide or the lower percentages of hydrogen peroxide like 6%, 12%, 17.5%, and 20%. These give a much better shelf life than the 35% and 40%. These higher percentage formulas “eat up” the gel quickly, just like they do for stains on the teeth.
